Greenhill

Greenhill is a suburb of Adelaide located about 9.3 kilometres east of the city centre in the foothills of the Adelaide Hills. Its boundaries were created in October 2001 in respect of the “long established name” with some land being moved into the adjoining suburb of Waterfall Gully in July 2002. Orroroo

Orroroo is a town in the Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. At the 2011 census, Orroroo shared a population of 540 with adjoining localities. The Wilmington-Ucolta Road passes through here, intersecting with the RM Williams Way which leads to the Birdsville and Oodnadatta Tracks. The Peterborough–Quorn railway line extended from Peterborough to Orroroo also in 1881 and Quorn in 1882, connecting with the new Central Australia Railway from Port Augusta. It is the fourth largest copper deposit and the largest known single deposit of uranium in the world, although copper is the largest contributor to total revenue. Approximately 70% of the mine's revenue comes from copper, 25% from uranium, and the remainder from silver and gold. BHP Billiton has owned and operated the mine since 2005. The mine was previously owned by Western Mining Corporation.

Many of the settlers arrived aboard the Zebra on 28 December 1838. The town is named after Dirk Meinhertz Hahn, the Danish captain of the Zebra. It is Australia's oldest surviving German settlement.

Vale Park is a suburb of Adelaide in the Town of Walkerville, Australia. It is located northeast of the Adelaide city centre between North East Road and the River Torrens, astride Ascot Avenue, part of the A17 highway which is the eastern ring route bypass of Adelaide.

Echunga

Echunga is a small town in the Adelaide Hills located 34 km south-east of Adelaide in South Australia. The area was initially settled in 1839, with the town laid out in 1849. Gold was discovered in 1852 and Echunga became the first proclaimed goldfield in South Australia. This led to a gold rush; however, it did not last long with the diggings exhausted and all but abandoned within a year. Subsequent discoveries in 1853 and 1854 led to smaller and equally short-lived rushes. In 1868 more gold was discovered at nearby Jupiter Creek, which proved to be a much larger and long-lived field.

Alford

Alford is a settlement in South Australia. Alford is in the Hundred of Tickera, northern Yorke Peninsula, about mid-way between the towns of Kadina and Port Broughton. The natural landform is undulating fertile plains, which often feature limestone and dunes. Founded on the agricultural industry, which surrounds the township, most of the original mallee scrub vegetation has been cleared for highly productive broad-acre wheat and barley farming, plus grazing and mixed farming.

Lochiel is a small town in the Mid North of South Australia 125 km north of Adelaide. The town lies beside on the western edge of Lake Bumbunga and at the eastern foot of the Hummocks Range. The Augusta Highway, a section of Highway 1, runs on a strip between the town and the Bumbunga salt lake.

Blanchetown

Blanchetown is a small township in South Australia, on the (west) bank of the Murray River, 130 km northeast of Adelaide.  The Blanchetown Bridge is the western-most (and farthest downstream) of the four crossings of the Sturt Highway over the Murray River.  During the nineteenth century it was an important transportation centre on the lower Murray.  In modern times Blanchetown has been described as "a strange mixture of historic buildings and temporary shacks built by holidaymakers on the banks of the river". The Burra Burra Copper Mine was established in 1848 mining the copper deposit discovered in 1845. Miners and townspeople migrated to Burra primarily from Cornwall, Wales, Scotland and Germany
